Founded in 2025, Bellfield Partners LLC was established by Bill Tyson as a next-generation advisory platform specializing in helping middle-market companies prepare for transformational events.
Our proven and simple strategic process has been formulated through over 40 years of direct experience. Transformational events include succession planning, liquidity events, strategic growth planning and other ownership-based challenges.

MEET THE TEAM

Bill Tyson
Founder and Managing Partner
Bill Tyson has over 40 years of experience across leadership development, strategic planning, investment banking and capital markets and has served in executive leadership and strategic development roles for some of the largest banks and financial institutions in the country. Bill most recently served as head of Mergers & Acquisitions within the Investment Banking Group of Fifth Third Bancorp (NASDAQ: FITB) until his ‘re-Wirement’ (vs retirement) in December 2024. In his various roles with Fifth Third, he was responsible for the strategic direction of the Capital Markets, M&A and Investment Banking platforms and for driving non-organic growth initiatives for Fifth Third Bancorp. Bill also held the positions of Executive Vice President, Co-head of Capital Markets during his tenure with Fifth Third that began in 2016.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking (and in various other senior leadership roles) during an approximately 18-year tenure with BB&T Capital Markets (and its predecessor, Scott & Stringfellow), the Capital Markets Division of BB&T Corp (NYSE: BBT) and now known as Truist Corporation (NYSE: TFC). Bill also headed Wheat First Butcher Singer’s Furnishings, Consumer and Industrial Growth Industry Verticals as a Managing Director, and prior to that, served as a Vice President with Wachovia Corporation in Winston-Salem, NC.
During his career, Bill advised on more than 350 capital financing and M&A transactions across the public and private capital markets. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and later graduated from The Executive Program (TEP), a certificated business program, at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
Bill serves on multiple boards including CULP, Inc. (NYSE: CULP), RidgeRock, Inc. and Alleghany Warehouse, Inc. He was past president of both the Virginia Athletics Foundation Board of Trustees and the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board. He also is former chairman of the St. Margaret’s School Board of Governors. Currently, he serves on the finance committee of the Church Schools of the Diocese of Virginia, and on the board of the St. Christopher’s School Foundation. Bill is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR) and LEAD Virginia, Class of 2020.
Bill is a proud founding member of the RVA1004100, a youth philanthropic organization in Richmond, Virginia which is in its 17th year of continuous operation and has raised over $1 million in service to youth in Central Virginia.

Zach Blue
Associate
Zach Blue is an Associate at Bellfield Partners, where he supports the firm’s advisory and growth efforts through investor engagement, market analysis, and strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Bellfield Partners, Zach Blue gained experience in both private equity and venture capital with a focus on the health and wellness sector. Most recently, he served as a Summer Analyst in the Investor Relations group at WM Partners, a health and wellness-focused private equity firm based in Aventura, Florida. In that role, he supported capital raising efforts for the firm’s third fund, delivered tailored due diligence materials to prospective investors, and helped develop the firm’s marketing materials. Zach previously served as a Venture Capital Analyst with Living Fund, where he conducted competitive market mapping and supported early-stage diligence efforts across a range of subsectors.
Zach earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, with concentrations in Finance, Information Technology, and Business Analytics. During his time at UVA, he was named to the Dean’s List each semester and actively participated in student leadership, athletics, and community service.

Scott Edmonds
Scott Edmonds is the co-founder of Bellfield Investment Partners, a private equity investment firm. Previously, Mr. Edmonds was the Chairman, President, and CEO of Chico’s FAS, Inc., a NYSE-listed women’s clothing retailer. Currently, Mr. Edmonds serves on the board of FineMark Holdings, Inc and Revolution Dancewear. He has served on the boards of Florida Council of 100, the Foundation for Florida Gulf Coast University
and he is active in numerous community organizations in Fort Myers, Florida and Mathews, Virginia.

Joe Henderson
Joe Henderson has been an entrepreneur for the last 25+ years. He was co-founder and CEO/President of Mainline Supply (now Fortiline Waterworks) a waterworks distribution company which began with one branch in 1997. When Joe sold the company in 2016 the business had grown to 44 branches in 14 states and was the third largest waterworks distributor in the US.

Marc Noel
Marc Noel was born and raised in Belgium and moved to US in 1979. He founded Nomaco Inc, a plastics transformation manufacturing company and later founded Nomacorc Inc, a global bottle closures manufacturing company, currently known as Vinventions, Inc. Marc is currently Chairman of Noel Group LLC, Noel Ventures LLC and Asten Johnson Inc. He is married and enjoys spending time with his three children and six grandchildren.

Kristie Shifflette
Kristie Shifflette is a Georgetown University graduate and an experienced entrepreneur and growth strategist with a proven track record in the health and wellness industry. She is the founder and former CEO of OT Growth Partners, where she successfully expanded Orangetheory Fitness from a single territory to 40 locations across four states, employing over 550 people. Kristie is also a partner at Restore Hyperwellness, a brand focused on expanding personal health through science-backed therapies.
Currently, Kristie is leading PrismLife, a health and wellness venture that emphasizes functional health and food as medicine. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their wellness through education, empowerment, and practical tools that address the complex challenges of today’s health and food systems. She is a life-long learner, dedicated wife and mother, and optimistic about the future.

Tim Tysinger
Tim Tysinger has been an entrepreneur for the last 25+ years. He was co-founder and CEO/President of Mainline Supply (now Fortiline Waterworks) a waterworks distribution company which began with one branch in 1997. When Tim sold the company in 2016 the business had grown to 44 branches in 14 states and was the third largest waterworks distributor in the US. Subsequently he led the purchase of RidgeRock Retaining Walls (a commercial segmental block wall company). Since the acquisition in 2019, Ridgerock’s EBITDA has increased fourfold. In 2023 he founded STAline Waterworks (another waterworks distributor). STAline has skyrocketed from a start up to a 15 branch, $300 mil sales company in 15 months of operation.
Prior to 1997 Tim held senior positions in various banks including First Union, Bank of Boston and Bank of New York primarily in asset based lending.
